Emily grew up riding horses on her family's farm in Florida and has over 20 years of experience working in the horse industry as a Professional Groom & Barn Manager. From grooming FEI horses to working with the babies, she has enjoyed working with horses in all stages of life and has experience in the eventing, hunter/jumper and dressage rings. Emily is also passionate about natural horsemanship and recently dipping into liberty training.
Her most recent Thoroughbred, Z, taught her a lot about empathy for the horse, being mindful of their body, and truly listening to the horse on a deeper level. Through her time grooming & managing, she has always been fascinated by Equine Bodywork & Massage. In 2025, Emily became a Certified Equine Massage Therapist through the Animal Rehab Institute’s program and is excited to work on horses in the New England region.
All of this collective experience in the equine industry and sport, she has been able to learn what it takes to care for performance horses, has a deep understanding of the horse's body and the rehab process, as well as proper restarting & training.
